Engr. Ma. Madecheen S. Pangaliman, M.Sc. received her Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering (BSECE) degree from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Manila (PUP-Manila) in 2016 with Latin Honors (Cum Laude) and Master of Science in Electronics Engineering (MS ECE, with thesis) from Mapua University in 2019. She is an Application Development Analyst at an Information Technology company for a year and a half, before joining the Thomasian workforce in 2018.
She is a licensed Electronics Engineer and an active member of the Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines, Inc. (IECEP), Philippine E-Learning Society (PeLS), and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) under Women in Engineering, Young Professional and Education Society. She is the current secretary of IEEE Women in Engineering (Philippine Section). She is also one of the e-Learning specialists of the Faculty of Engineering during the AY 2020 – 2021 and is currently one of the Student Academic Advising and Other Services (SAAS) coordinators. Concurrently, she is also the head of the Top Thomasian Engineering News (Top TEN) Committee of the Faculty of Engineering that supervises the Faculty’s public presence.
She is also the course coordinator of ENG207B: Physics for Engineers B and ENG209: Computer Fundamentals and Programming under the Engineering Pre-Major Year Collaborative (EPYC) Program.
She is one of the student organization advisers of UST Network of Electronics Engineering Students and a former student organization adviser of Rotaract Club of UST – Engineering unit. She is also a Certified Apple Teacher, Microsoft Innovative Educator, and an Adobe Creative Educator (Level 1). She has published her research papers locally and at various international conferences in research areas such as machine learning, deep learning, data visualization, computer programming, and computational intelligence.
