In the recently concluded October 2022 Licensure Examination for Public Accountants (LECPA), Francis Matthew N. Obligacion, CPA emerged as the cream of the crop at 1st rank after scoring a 91% personal rating, while Marion Jasper T. Tagle, CPA landed on the 5th rank with his 88.67% rating.
Meanwhile, the University produces 269 new Thomasian accountants, posting a 63.90% overall rating, which is above the 25.84% national passing rate. This adds to the growing list of Thomasian CPAs produced by the UST-Alfredo M. Velayo College of Accountancy.
The board exams was administered by the Professional Regulation Commission.
