Engr. Rhovee P. Vistan earned his B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Santo Tomas in 2009 and his M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Philippines (UP) – Diliman, Quezon City in 2023. He completed his Master’s degree under the scholarship granted by the Department of Science and Technology-Engineering Research and Development for Technology (DOST-ERDT), with his Master’s research conducted and completed at the University of Houston, Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, Texas, USA funded by the UP – Office of International Linkages (OIL) under the Continuous Operational and Outcomes-based Partnership for Excellence in Research and Academic Training Enhancement (COOPERATE) Program. He is a licensed chemical engineer and an active Philippine Institute of Chemical Engineers – Metro Manila Academe Chapter (PIChE-MMAC) member. Engr. Vistan also has 10 years’ worth of experience in the industry as a Design and Quality Engineer, having worked in multinational Engineering, Procurement & Construction firms such as JGC and Fluor Philippines. His research focus is on environmental engineering, particularly in catalyst synthesis and advanced wastewater treatment methods.
