Engr. Ryan A. Ramirez earned his BSc in Civil Engineering in 2011 from the University of Santo Tomas, where he is currently a lecturer. In 2015, he earned his MSc in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Geotechnical Engineering from Pusan National University in Busan, South Korea. He is in his final year of completing his PhD in Civil and Environmental at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology in Daejeon, South Korea. His research interests are utilizing by-products for soil and site improvement, investigating the effect of wildfire on the hydromechanical properties of burned slopes, and applying remote sensing for geohazards investigations.
