Engr. John Carl Joel S. Marquez received a B.S. degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines, in 2017, and an M.S. degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taipei, Taiwan, in 2020. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering at National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu, Taiwan. He is a licensed electronics engineer and a member of the Institute of Electronics Engineers in the Philippines (IECEP) and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) under the Solid-State Circuits Society (SSCS), Circuits and Systems Society (CAS), and the Young Professionals. He co-authored several journal articles published in IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits (JSSC), and IEEE Transactions on Very Large Scale Integration Systems (TVLSI). His research interests include CMOS image sensor IC design and mixed-mode IC design for the Internet of Things (IoT).
