Engr. Mark Elson Lucio earned his Master of Science in Civil Engineering (major in Structural Engineering) degree from the University of the Philippines – Diliman in 2008 and finished his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree from the University of Santo Tomas in 2003. He teaches Reinforced Concrete Design, and Earthquake and Wind Engineering this Academic Year.
Outside of the academe, he is the Principal Structural Engineer at MAIN Structures Engineering and is currently the Vice President of the Association of Structural Engineers of the Philippines (ASEP). He was conferred a Specialist in Structural Engineering by the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE). He is a member of the American Concrete Institute (ACI), and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
