Inst. Mark Anthony J. Etcobañez, LPT, MA is an instructor at the Department of Filipino of the University of Santo Tomas. He is also a licensed professional teacher. He graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Filipino Degree at Meycauayan College with Academic Distinction in 2017 and was recognized as the Best Demonstrator. He obtained his Master of Arts in Teaching Filipino, Summa Cum Laude, from the same school. His thesis also won second place as Best Thesis. He is currently taking his Doctor of Philosophy in Education major in Filipino Degree at the University of Batangas.
He already presented his thesis at national and international conferences. He also wrote articles and modules in the Filipino field. He also won different contests like Impromptu and extemporaneous speech, and story-telling contests. He is a former teacher at St. Mary’s Academy of Sto. Niňo. At this time, he is also a national lecturer for those who want to take the licensure Examination for teachers.
