Charmina Lou C. Bautista received her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Santo Tomas in 1995. In 2001, she graduated With Honours from the University of Western Australia with a degree in MA Educational Studies. She began teaching in the Faculty of Engineering in 1997. She held administrative positions in the University, as Executive Assistant in the Office of the Assistant to the Rector for Planning and Development from 2001-2003, and as Chairperson of the Industrial Engineering Department from AY 2010-2012. She was one of the first batch of Professional Industrial Engineers given designation under the Grandfather Rule by the Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers.
