Engr. Jyra N. Acebes is a proud daughter of the province of Batanes. She is an alumna of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. She passed the CE board exam in May 2019. Currently, she is taking up her post-graduate studies (Juris Doctor) in Arellano University School of Law while working as an engineer in a Japanese construction firm currently undertaking two of the major government projects in the country – the North-South Commuter Railways Project and the Metro Manila Subway Project.
