Gascon of Nursing, EdTech wins best research paper award for Project Smart-Skill Lab in Vietnam congress

Asst. Prof. April Joy Gascon, MAN of the College of Nursing won the Best Research Paper Award for the work entitled “Project Skill-Smart Lab: Merging Simulation, Multimedia, and Audiovisual Reality-Based Training to Improve Nursing Students Clinical Skill Outcomes” during the International e-Learning Congress 2017. The congress was held in Hanoi, Vietnam, and gathered participants from the Philippines, Vietnam, Oman, and Japan, among others.

Gascon, who co-authored the paper with Ms. Cara Jaye Garcia, is the eLearning Management Head of the UST Educational Technology Center.
