Dean Ramos of Science elected vice-president of Philippine biology teachers’ association

Prof. John Donnie A. Ramos, PhD, Dean of the College of Science and faculty member of the Department of Biological Sciences, was elected National Vice-President of the Biology Teachers’ Association (BioTA) during its convention held from April 6-8, 2017.

Ramos, who holds a doctorate degree in molecular biology from the National University of Singapore, will serve as VP from May 2017 – April 2019. He was previously the President of the Philippine Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and is a member of the Technical Committee on Biology of the Commission on Higher Education.
