Dean Patricia M. Empleo, PhD and Asst. Prof. Antonio J. Dayag of the UST-Alfredo M. Velayo College of Accountancy received the first Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) Awards for Accountancy Authors, held at Shangri-la Hotel, Mandaluyong City on December 13, 2018.
The awardees, all authors of various accounting textbooks, were recognized for their contribution to the accountancy profession in the Philippines by being instrumental to the acquisition of knowledge by students and industry practitioners alike.
This award is a project of the Library and Archives Committee, one of the national committees of the PICPA.
