Ms. Dianne Jane A. Sunico is a professional food technologist and a registered chemical technician. She obtained her degrees in BS Food Technology and MS Applied Nutrition minor in Food Science from the University of the Philippines Los Baños. She was a DOST graduate scholar and a Phi Sigma Biological Sciences Honor Society member. She worked as a senior science research specialist under the Department of Science and Technology and has been involved in various research focusing on functional foods and the utilization of indigenous crops. She also provides consultancy services to product manufacturing corporations. Currently, she teaches courses in Food Science and Nutrition, including Food Analysis, Dairy Science and Technology, and Nutritional Biochemistry.
