VRRI Nonato receives Shimadzu Achievement Award for Chemical Research

Prof. Maribel G. Nonato, PhD, UST’s Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation and a faculty member of the College of Science and the Graduate School, is the 2017 recipient of the Shimadzu Achievement Award for Chemical Research, conferred by the Philippine Federation of Chemistry Societies (PFCS). The ceremonies took place from May 31 – June 2, 2017 in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan. It coincided with the 32nd Philippine Chemistry Congress, with the theme “Chemistry. Changes. Choices.”

The PFCS is composed of four chemistry societies: 1) Kapisanang Kimika ng Pilipinas; 2) Integrated Chemistry of the Philippines; 3) the Philippine Association of Chemistry Teachers; and 4) the Philippine Association of Chemistry Students.
