The UST Faculty of Pharmacy in collaboration with the Graduate School Pharmacy and Medical Technology Cluster organized a symposium on the “Pharmacy Services in Solid Organ Transplantation” at the Central Laboratory Auditorium last September 14, 2022. The symposium was led by Prof. Aleth Therese L. Dacanay, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy.
Asst. Prof. Benito T. Valdepeñas III, PharmD, BCTXP, RN shared the current pharmacy practices and trends in the Solid Organ Transplantation service at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) Hospital and his experiences as a clinical preceptor and a faculty member at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy.
The event was attended by faculty members and students from the Pharm D, BS Pharmacy, and MS/Ph.D. Pharmacy programs.
