UST rises in QS 2022 Asia rankings, lands at 177

The University of Santo Tomas ranked 177th in the QS Asia Rankings 2022, rising nine places from last year’s 186th place. The latest rankings were released by Quacquarelli-Symonds on November 2, 2021.

Among the best-performing indicators rated were the outbound and inbound exchanges among students, who have continued international exchanges albeit virtually during the pandemic. Another indicator that was rated high was the international faculty, given the recent rise in visiting professors appointed by the University.

This year, UST secured the 5-star rating by the QS, the highest in the Philippines and the second-highest in the QS Stars system.
