Twenty-four newly promoted faculty members into the Professor-rank
of the University of Santo Tomas, were conferred the Professorial Medal on
September 6, 2018, as part of the solemn conferment rites within the Eucharistic Celebration. UST Rector Very Rev. Fr. Herminio V. Dagohoy, O.P., was presider.
The rites were held at the Dr. Robert C. Sy Grand Ballroom of the UST Blessed Buenaventura Garcia Paredes, O.P., Building. Recognized during the ceremonies were the following: Prof. Patricia M. The medal signifies that a faculty member has achieved the highest rank
within the academic system of the University. There are four ranks, with
five levels each, with the highest being Professor Five.
