Reducing Use of Single-Waste Plastics
The University in 2019 gifted new students with metal straws and utensils as part of the University’s commitment to reducing waste from single-use plastics.
The Junior High School since 2019 has banned the use of plastic straws and utensils in its premises, encouraging stakeholders to instead use metal straws and utensils.

To ensure the safety of stakeholders and to promote the responsible use of materials for academic and research purposes, the University has the Laboratory Equipment and Supplies Office, which manages the and distribution of equipment and supplies, with the intent of ensuring safety, reducing waste, and ensuring sustainability.
Being a Hazardous Wastes Generator, the University is regulated by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources – Environmental Management Bureau, to which it regularly reports.
