The Philippine Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (PSBMB) recognized Prof. Dr. Grecebio Jonathan D. Alejandro and Prof. Mafel C. Ysrael, Ph.D. at its 47th Annual Convention that was held online from December 1 to 4, 2020.
Both Graduate School professors and Research Center for Natural and Applies Sciences researchers, Alejandro received the PSBMB 2020 Distinguished Research Award, while Ysrael received the 2020 PSBMB Education Award.
With the theme “Responding to Health and Environmental Issues through Biochemistry and Molecular Biology,” the convention gathered together participants and research experts from different institutions for an academic exchange to learn the different approaches in dealing with the current pandemic, and other health and environmental issues.
