VIRREY, Glenn C.

Engr. Glenn C. Virrey is an alumnus of the Technological University of the Philippines, earning his Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering last March 2017. He was a full-time faculty member of the Electronics Engineering Department at the same university from 2020 to 2023. Currently, he is a full-time academic staff of the Department of Electronics Engineering at the University of Santo Tomas – Faculty of Engineering. He earned his Master of Science degree in Electronics Engineering majoring in Microelectronics at Mapua University last September 2022. He had his early career years in the corporate industry as an apprentice failure analysis engineer and supplier quality engineer at Amkor Technology, Philippines, Inc. He is an active member of the Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines, Inc. (IECEP), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and the IEEE Control Systems Society (IEEE-CSS). He is also an Associate Member of the National Research Council of the Philippines. He is currently a Board Member, elected as Auditor, of the IECEP-Manila Chapter. He authored and co-authored several published research as well as presented at various conferences from 2020 up to date. He is also a resource speaker on various seminars with topics related to Microelectronics and IC design. His interests in the ECE field include semiconductor manufacturing and IC design, smart agricultural technology, biomedical engineering, data science, and wireless network and sensor systems.
