Mariejim Diane O. Payot, a licensed medical technologist in the Philippines, is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Technology of Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Santo Tomas (UST). Her journey in academia was nurtured at UST, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in medical technology, laying the foundation for her professional career. She successfully obtained her master’s degree in medical technology, a noteworthy accomplishment highlighted by the esteemed full scholarship she received from the Department of Science and Technology – Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI).

At present, she is on the verge of finishing her Doctorate in Medical Technology at UST. Her research centers on the meticulous study and unwavering commitment to uncovering valuable insights that will not only contribute to advancements in the medical field but also improve the health and wellness of women.
