ORTUOSTE, Jennifer Rebecca L.

Asst. Prof. Jenny Ortuoste, PhD, teaches BA- and MA-level courses in communication, marketing communication, creative writing, and journalism. She is a researcher under the Research Center for Culture, Arts and the Humanities (RCCAH) and an Associate Fellow of the Center for Creative Writing and Literary Studies (CCWLS).

Dr. Ortuoste was formerly website editor-in-chief and head of the Digital Media (social media management) section of People’s Television Network as well as the online editor of Manila Bulletin. She has also been a radio talk show host and horseracing sportscaster on cable television.

Aside from her work in media, she has also had experience in government service and in the private sector in the fields of advertising, events management, corporate communications, and public relations, management, and operations.
