Diane S. Mendoza-Sarmiento is an Assistant Professor at the University of Santo Tomas, where she teaches professional courses for BS Nutrition and Dietetics students. Diane is a registered Nutritionist-Dietitian with more than five years of practice in a clinical setting in both government and private hospitals. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Santo Tomas, obtained a Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition at the Philippine Women’s University, and currently taking her Ph.D. in Health Research at the University of Santo Tomas under a scholarship program of the Department of Science and Technology-Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI). Academic and research by discipline- she participated in several locally funded research projects in the area of food, obesity, and clinical studies.
