Macaraig, Catherine Corazon Q.

Associate Professor Catherine Corazon Ojeda Qui-Macaraig, MD, holds the esteemed position of Associate Professor 3 in the Departments of Ophthalmology and Medicine at the UST Faculty of Medicine & Surgery. With notable administrative roles, she serves as the Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology, a Faculty Council Member, and the Head of Pediatric Ophthalmology at UST Hospital, Tzu Chi Eye Center,  showcasing her commitment to both education and alumni engagement. Dr. Qui-Macaraig’s scholarly interests encompass Ophthalmology, Strabismus, and mission work. Her illustrious educational journey includes a Clinical Fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology from UW Hospitals and Clinics, Residency Training in Ophthalmology at Santo Tomas University Hospital, and a Doctor of Medicine, Cum Laude, from the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine & Surgery. Recognized for her contributions, she received the 2020 Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology Ophthalmic Educator Award.
