HO, Jean U.

Assistant Professor Jean Uy Ho, MD, FPCP, FPCEDM, serves as an esteemed faculty member in the Department of Pharmacology and the Department of Medicine at UST Faculty of Medicine & Surgery, holding the position of Assistant Professor V. Dr. Ho’s dedication extends to various administrative roles, including Training Officer for the Endocrinology Fellowship Training Program at UST Hospital, where she has been actively contributing since January 2024. She is a valuable member of the Pharmacovigilance Subcommittee of Hospital Therapeutics and the Consultants’ Accreditation Committee in the Department of Internal Medicine at UST. Dr. Ho’s scholarly and research interests are centered around Diabetes and Thyroid Diseases. Her extensive education and training include Fellowship Training in Endocrinology and Metabolism at UST Hospital, Residency Training in Internal Medicine at St. Luke’s Medical Center, and a Doctor of Medicine degree, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Santo Tomas. Dr. Ho has been recognized with numerous awards, including achievements during her medical education, licensure exams, and participation in prestigious quiz contests. In the past, she held the position of Supervisor in the Department of Pharmacology at UST-FMS from 2015 to 2018. Dr. Ho is a Diplomate and Fellow of the Philippine College of Physicians, Diplomate and Fellow of the Philippine College of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism, an International member of The Endocrine Society, and an Associate Member of the Philippine Society of Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology. She is also affiliated with UST Hospital and Manila Doctors Hospital as an active consultant.
