Emmanuel C. Guevara graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering (BSECE) in 2000 from the University of Santo Tomas and received his master’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering (MSECE) in 2015 from the De La Salle University. A licensed Electronics Engineer, he is also a member of the Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines (IECEP). He has previously worked as a Sales and Service Engineer for Manila Cine-TV Equipment Company (MACTEC) and Pan Technologies (PanTech). He has been a faculty member in the Electronics Engineering Department of the University of Santo Tomas since 2002 and has also been appointed to several positions within the university. He served as the Network Hardware Operations Center Officer for the Santo Tomas e-Service Providers (STePs) in 2006 and as the Broadcast Department Technical Operations Manager for the Educational Technology (EdTech) Center from 2009 to 2010 where he put up UST Tiger Radio, the university’s Internet radio streaming service. His research interests lie in the field of acoustical engineering, signal processing, speech and music analysis, and processing.
