Engr. Franz Kevin Geronimo earned both his Master’s and Doctor of Philosophy in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Kongju National University in 2013 and 2020, respectively. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Santo Tomas in 2011. He served as a representative of many youth organizations since 2009 enabling him to represent the youth in various events including the water leaders round table discussion during the Korea International Water Week 2018, panelist of the Korea Water Forum special session during the Smart Water Grid International Conference 2020, and rapporteur during the online satellite event for the 9th World Water Forum to be held in Dakar, Senegal organized by UNESCO-Jakarta in 2020.

At present, he is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Kongju National University that has published a wide range of research topics concerning stormwater management and environmental engineering.

Stormwater treatment technologies or low-impact development technologies ensure the restoration of the pre-developed state of an area including its environmental benefits.
Selecting appropriate low-impact strategies for urban stormwater management has been highly variable due to the unidentified mechanisms occurring in each stormwater management technologies.
Considering the appropriate environment for enhanced microorganism growth will enable optimized low-impact development technology performance
