Assoc. Prof. Maria Mercedes C. Buendia is an academic staff at the College of Education, University of Santo Tomas, handling professional education courses for the departments of Secondary Education and Elementary Education. Assoc. Prof. Buendia was a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Computer Technology and Master of Arts in Education major in Educational Management both from the University of Santo Tomas. At present, she is taking up her PhD in Teaching and Technology at the Assumption University of Thailand. She is currently working on her dissertation on Assistive Technology. Assoc. Prof. Buendia used to be the eLearning specialist of the College of Education providing trainings on the use of e-learning for teaching and learning. She had co-authored Computer books for elementary level and Educational Technology 1 and 2 books for Education program students.
