Engr. Mikale Rizton M. Ablidas received his Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering (BS ECE) from the Technological Institute of the Philippines – Quezon City (TIP-QC) in 2008 (Cum Laude), and his Master of Science in Electronics Engineering (MS ECE, with Thesis) major in Control Systems from the Mapua Institute of Technology in 2017. He is a licensed Electronics Engineer and an active member of the Institute of Electronics Engineers in the Philippines (IECEP). Prior to being an academic staff in the University of Santo Tomas, he has been a faculty member of different Institutes and Universities. He served more than 8 years working at one of the steel manufacturing companies in the Philippines as an Instrumentation and Control Engineer and was promoted to Electrical Head. He also worked at one of the control system design company which is based in the Philippines as a Group Manager of the Project team and the HMI development team. His research interests focus on Control Systems and Image Processing.
