Physical therapy faculty, alumni provide scoliosis screening to 1415 grade school pupils in Nueva Ecija

On July 22, 2019, Physical Therapy faculty members and alumni, as well as administrators of the College of Rehabilitation Sciences, provided free scoliosis screening to a total of 1,415 grade school pupils in Talavera, Nueva Ecija.

The project, spearheaded by the Nueva Ecija Medical Society and in coordination with the local government of Talavera, catered to pupils from Talavera Central School, Talavera North Elementary School, Talavera South Elementary School, and Schola Christi, Inc.

Leading the UST group were Asst. Prof. Jocel Regino and Dr. Rosalynn Papa of the Department of Physical Therapy. The activity was the first time that CRS collaborated with Nueva Ecija officials.
