HRM students win in Philippine Culinary Cup 2019

Incoming 3rd year Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management students from the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management won gold and bronze medals in 3 categories from the 2019 Philippine Culinary Cup held from August 7-10, 2019 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia.

The students were coached by the Hospitality Management Chairperson, Asst. Prof. Nathaniel Siao, and faculty member Chef Ramona Olga Ko.

The Philippine Culinary Cup with this year’s theme “Where the Best Meet to Compete” is open to students and professionals in the culinary field. It is now on its 10th year and is known as the most prestigious culinary competition in the country. It is the country’s only culinary competition certified by the World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS). The competition is hosted by the World Food Expo (WOFEX) 2019. WOFEX is the biggest and most effective food show in the Philippines today.
