Fr. Bolo is appointed Socius of the Master of the Order for Apostolic Life

Rev. Fr. Florentino A. Bolo, Jr., O.P., JCD, rejoined the General Curia of the Order of Preachers. Effective November 22, 2020, he was appointed the Socius of the Master of the Order for Apostolic Life and now reports directly to the Master of the Order and UST Chancellor Very Rev. Fr. Gerard Francisco P. Timoner, III, O.P. at the Convent of Santa Sabina in Rome.

Fr. Bolo was previously appointed to the General Curia by the preceding Master of the Order Very Rev Fr. Bruno Cadoré, O.P., M.D., as the General Promoter of Priestly Fraternities of the Order of Preachers.

The UST Quadricentennial Secretary-General, Fr. Bolo, most recently served as the Vice-Rector of UST Central Seminary and the Director of the UST Institute of Religion.

Fr. Bolo completed his Doctorate in Canon Law degree at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas (the Angelicum), Rome in 2016, while his Licentiate in Canon Law, Bachelor in Sacred Theology, and Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology degrees were obtained at the University of Santo Tomas.
