Assoc. Prof. Giovanna V. Fontanilla, MA, Director of the Office of Public Affairs and a faculty member of the Department of English, was elected on January 13, 2017 as the Secretary of the Public Relations Society of the Philippines and as head of the Professional Development committee.
Earlier today, February 24, 2017 (Friday), Fontanilla joined the PRSP officers for 2017-2018 in an oath-taking ceremony in Ilustrado, Intramuros. The ceremonies were officiated by the Philippines’s Department of Finance Secretary Carlos “Sonny” Dominguez.
Fontanilla is UST’s longtime director of the Office of Public Affairs (formerly Public and Alumni Affairs Office) and also served in the past as the Executive Assistant of the Office of the Secretary-General.
