Prof. Aleth Therese L. Dacanay, RPh, PhD of the Faculty of Pharmacy has been reappointed as the first member of the Continuing Professional Development Council for Pharmacists by the Professional Regulation Commission, which announced the news on September 16, 2025. Dean Dacanay, concurrent President of the Philippine Pharmacists Association, will serve a two-year term.
The council is composed of three members, with the Chair being a member of the Professional Board of Pharmacy, the first member being the PPHA President, and the second member being the President of the Philippine Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, which Dacanay also headed previously.
