BSc Accountancy, Biology, Chemistry, Psychology programs receive AUN-QA assessment certification

Four of the baccalaureate programs of the University of Santo Tomas received their official ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance certifications last August 18, 2017, less then six months after the formal assessment. The Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Bachelor of Science in Biology, Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, and Bachelor of Science in Psychology programs are now officially AUN-QA-assessed, certifying that the programs are in accordance with the standards set by the organization.

The certification for the four programs is valid for five years, or until March 2022.

The University of Santo Tomas, an Associate Member of the AUN-QA since January 13, 2016, has submitted eight of its bachelor’s-degree programs to the international body’s external assessment, to determine its strengths and points for improvement vis-a-vis accepted ASEAN standards.

As of August 2017, the AUN-QA-assessed programs are Accountancy, Biology, Chemistry, Psychology (February 2017) and Elementary Education, Secondary Education, Medical Technology, and Pharmacy (June 2017).
