Following a remote accreditation in May 2022, the Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting (BSMA) program offered by the UST-Alfredo M. Velayo College of Accountancy received its five-year Level II re-accreditation from the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA).
The accreditation, announced through a certificate signed by PACUCOA Chairman Conrado E. Iñigo, Jr., PhD and Executive Director Adlai C. Castigador, PhD, provides the program with full administrative deregulation, financial deregulation in terms of setting of tuition fees and other fees and charges, authority to revise the curriculum without approval from the Commission on Higher Education, and priority in the awarding of grants/subsidies or funding assistance by government regulatory agencies.
The BSMA program is one of three programs offered by the College of Accountancy, which likewise offers the BS Accountancy (PACUCOA Level III and AUN-QA certified) and BS Accounting Information System program.
