Professor Christina A. Binag, PhD and Academician Professor Emeritus Fortunato B. Sevilla, PhD were elected to the Kapisanang Kimika ng Pilipinas Board of Directors, with Binag elected as President for 2021-2023 and Sevilla in the Board of Directors for 2021-2024.
Both respected academics and researchers, Binag and Sevilla are multi-awarded chemists of the University of Santo Tomas. Binag is a nano materials expert, while Sevilla pioneered low-cost instrumentation in the country.
