2017 BSc Nutrition grads win awards in DOST-Food & Nutrition Research Seminar

Four 2017 graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics program of the College of Education reaped awards in the Nutrition and Dietetics Category of the 43rd Food and Nutrition Research Seminar Series of the Department of Science and Technology’s Food ad Nutrition Research Institute.

Arianne Sherie L. Agustin, Roniel Rose O. Barrientos, Shaira G. Carandag, and Gabrieleene B. Viray won first place in the Poster category and second place in the Oral category of the Undergraduate Research Competition.

The four seniors, supervised by College of Education dean Allan B. de Guzman, PhD, worked on the study “What predicts malnutrition among a select group of Filipino elderly in institutionalized setting? A Partial Least Square (PLS) Study.”
