A study entitled “The Philosophy of History of Cardinal Zeferino González, O.P. (1831–1894) and Its Thomistic Origin,” written by Research Center for Theology, Religious Studies, and Ethics (RCTRSE) researcher, Asst. Prof. Levine Andro H. It appeared in the volume’s Storia del Tomismo (History of Thomism) section.
Cardinal González was a distinguished alumnus of the University of Santo Tomas and one of the most prominent voices of the 19th-century Thomistic revival.
The publication was part of the Eleventh International Thomistic Congress (Rome, 2022), organized by the Pontifical Academy of St. Thomas Aquinas and the Thomistic Institute of the Angelicum, under the theme “Vetera novis augere” (to enrich the old with the new).
