UST Tiger Radio represents PH and UST in 11th World College Radio Day

The UST Tiger Radio will represent the Philippines and the University of Santo Tomas in the 11th World College Radio Day 24-Hour Global Marathon, the largest worldwide college radio event, on October 1, 2021 at 10 a.m. via Live365.

Belonging to the lineup of 24 college radio stations around the world, the radio broadcasting arm of the UST Communications Bureau will have a special opportunity to showcase and to discuss the importance of college radio.

Meanwhile, BA Communication Arts alumnus and former UST Yellow Jackets member Mr. Eric Galang, also known as DJ Chinaheart of MOR Entertainment, will be the special guest of UST Tiger Radio for this event.

This year’s theme is “In Tough Times, We Thrive”, an account of the global efforts made by college radio stations around the world to find inventive ways to keep broadcasting alive during the Covid-19 pandemic.
