The University of Santo Tomas had its ISO 9001:2015 3rd Repeat Audit from June 3-4, 2021, conducted remotely by TÜvSÜD PSB Philippines.

It was organized by the Office of Planning and Quality Management (OPQM) to form part of the University’s quality assurance initiatives.

The audit aimed to determine the extent of conformity of the management system with audit criteria; evaluate the capability of the management system to ensure compliance with applicable statutory, regulatory, and contractual requirements; evaluate the effectiveness of the management system to ensure the client organization is continually meeting its specified objectives; identify areas for potential improvement; evaluate the management’s responsibility for the company’s policies; evaluate the links between the standard requirements and the management system requirements; and evaluate the operational control of processes, including internal audits and management review.

This year’s TUVSUD audit team was composed of Michael Nelson Soriano, Xavier Lance Dy, and Christine Anne Formalejo.
