The UST Singers brought home awards in the City of Derry International Choir Festival 2025 held from October 22-26, 2025.
The acclaimed chorale group brought home the top prize, receiving the Oak Tree of Derry Trophy.
Moreover, they also won the Contemporary Music Centre Award, a special award for the Best Performance of a piece by an Irish composer, and the Bishop’s Gate Hotel Award for the best performance of a work composed before 1750.
The group was guided by its conductor Asst. Prof. Fidel Calalang, Jr., MA. and Mr. Mark Agpasa.
