The University of Santo Tomas joined the world’s top 1000 universities, in the 2018 Quacquarelli-Symonds (QS) rankings released on June 8, 2017 (Thursday). The rankings, which placed UST in the 801-1000 category, made UST the top four university in the country.
UST likewise remains to be the highest QS-Stars rated Philippine university, at Four Stars. UST is the Philippines’s first QS Stars University, when it received the recognition in 2014.
