The University of Santo Tomas once again received the distinction of having the most number of academic programs accredited by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation, which conferred the distinction in its General Assembly held on December 7, 2021.
The following awards were conferred upon UST this year:
- University with the highest number of accredited programs in the Philippines
- Institution with the highest number of accredited programs in the National Capital Region
- Institution with the highest number of Level IV accredited programs in the Philippines
- Winner in the Gawad Edukampyon 2021 for the Category: Excellence in Flexible and Responsive Management
The Level IV accreditation is the highest in the PACUCOA rating system and is enjoyed by several bachelor’s and master’s programs in UST.
Last October 25, the Commission on Higher Education conferred the inaugural Gawad Edukampyon for Excellence in Flexible and Responsive Management upon UST, acknowledging its efforts to transition a campus of over 40,000 stakeholders to a fully virtual learning environment.
