The UST Publishing House launched its new titles in the Manila International Book Fair (MIBF), held from September 10-14, 2025, at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City.






The following titles, penned by authors from different fields, were launched in MIBF:
-Interdisciplinary Legal Studies: Philippine Constitutional Law, International Law, and the Humanities by Jose Duke Bagulaya
-2025 Edition of Tales of the Spider Woman by Merlie M. Alunan.

-Ethics, Justice, and Recognition: Essays on Critical Theory by Prof. Paolo A. Bolaños, PhD.

-Son of a Dead ’80s Bold Star by Chuck Smith
-Seasonal Adversities: An Ekphrasis on the Climate Crisis by Joel M. Toledo and Pancho Alvarez

Bookworms also had an opportunity to meet and greet their favorite authors with the likes of Star for All Seasons Ms. Vilma Santos-Recto, who is also serving as the Governor of Batangas, and musician-poet-broadcast personality Lourd de Veyra.
Santos signed the freshly launched copies of 𝙑𝙄𝙇𝙈𝘼 𝙎𝘼𝙉𝙏𝙊𝙎, 𝙄𝘾𝙊𝙉: 𝙀𝙎𝙎𝘼𝙔𝙎 𝙊𝙉 𝘾𝙄𝙉𝙀𝙈𝘼, 𝘾𝙐𝙇𝙏𝙐𝙍𝙀 & 𝙎𝙊𝘾𝙄𝙀𝙏𝙔, the first anthology of critical essays penned by Prof. Augusto Antonio A. Aguila, PhD, and Asst. Prof. Joselito B. Zulueta, MA, in celebration of her lasting influence on Philippine cinema and how film unreeled itself as an art form and a cultural touchstone.
MIBF is the country’s longest-running and largest book fair since the 1980s that offered a platform to promote reading culture and support the local publishing industry.
