UST Museum displays Miss Universe Germany 2016’s Castle Headdress, Miss Universe dolls

The UST Museum became the new home of the Castle Headdress belonging to Miss Universe Germany 2016 Johanna Acs, with the official turnover ceremonies held last February 13, 2017  at the Museum’s Main Gallery.

UST Museum Director Rev. Fr. Isidro Abano, O.P. inked the donation agreement with Maria Consolacion “Sol” Dayo-Albar, alumna of UST College of Architecture and Fine Arts Batch 1987, during the turnover ceremonies.

According to Davo-Albar, Acs donated her headdress as a token of appreciation to  the Filipinos’ hospitality especially during her stay in the Philippines for the Miss Universe 2016 last January 30, 2017 at Mall of Asia Arena. “Miss Johanna really appreciated the Filipinos,” Davo-Albar said.

Alongside the crown, a collection of Miss Universe dolls owned by Asst. Prof. Anna Cherylle M. Ramos, MSc,  is also on display.
