The UST Male Woodpushers extended its 5-peat reign in the UAAP Season 88 Chess tournament after capturing the crown on October 19, 2025, at the Adamson University Gym.
Christian Mark Daluz bagged the silver in Board 1, while season MVP Chester Reyes captured the gold in Board 2. Lee Roi Palma, Mark Reyes, and Allan Hilario each captured the gold in Boards 3, 4, and 6, respectively.
UST head coach Ronald Dableo guided the team to victory.
