The University of Santo Tomas posted a 92.98% passing rate, in the March 2019 licensure exams for medical technologists, producing 53 passers. UST’s passing rate was significantly higher than the national passing rate of 68.45%.
Aaron Terence Dela Cruz Ibe placed sixth with the score of 90.10%, while David Jameson de Leon Cañeso secured the eighth place with a score of 89.20%.
Ibe and Cañeso earned their bachelor’s degrees in Medical Technology in 2018.
