UST bags award for highest number of PACUCOA-accredited programs in the PHL anew, receives 7 other plums

The University of Santo Tomas bagged eight (8) awards in the December 2, 2016 (Friday) 27th Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) General Assembly held at the Novotel, Araneta Center, Quezon City. The award ceremony was held in conjunction with the celebration of the 43rd founding anniversary of the PACUCOA.

UST was recognized for the following:

  1. University with the highest number of accredited programs in the Philippines
  2. University with the highest number of Level IV (the highest level) accredited programs
  3. First institution to have a Level IV BS Physical Therapy program in the Philippines
  4. First institution to have a Level IV BS Occupational Therapy program in the Philippines
  5. University with the highest number of accredited programs in NCR
  6. Institution that was granted Autonomous status by the Commission on Higher Education
  7. Institution that produced a graduate who obtained the highest rating in the 2016 Librarian Licensure Examinations
  8. Institution that produced a graduate who obtained the highest rating in the 2016 Architecture Licensure Examinations
