UST Rector Rev. Fr. Hermino V. Dagohoy, O.P., PhD, formally inked ties with ABS-CBN Chief Content Officer and ABS-CBN University President Charo Santos-Concio to facilitate programs such as faculty exchange and internship opportunities on January 18, 2017 at the Rector’s Hall.
Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Clarita D. Carillo, PhD, in her welcome remarks, noted that the partnership will allow the students to immediately see the balance of theory and practice. “We welcome the exchange of ideas in both curiosity and caution with both playful imagination and practical inspiration.” Dr. Carillo said.
ABS-CBN University Head Gabriel Orendain said curriculum-based learning and such efforts to provide industry-relevant training is for the benefit of aspiring students in the field; whereas the practitioners, among others, from their respective schools can “cross-teach”.
